Sooo… I’ve been watching all the YouTube vlogs and reading posts about recovery after bariatric surgery, and everyone keeps saying “it’s not that bad.” But let’s be realwhat does that mean?? Because my pain tolerance is, like, embarrassingly low 😅 I stub my toe and act like I’ve been shot, lol. I’m mostly wondering: is it like muscle soreness? Or more sharp pain where it hurts to move or breathe? I’ve heard the gas pain can be brutallike, shoulder pain and bloating?? That honestly sounds worse than the incisions. I’m still excited and feel good about the surgery, but I’d love some honest input from people who’ve been through it. What was the first week really like? Were you able to sleep okay? Did meds actually help? I just wanna mentally prepare so I’m not caught off guard crying on Day 2. 😭
