Tried mapping out the medical line process

Okay so I’ve been deep diving how the medical lane works at the border because the idea of waiting 3 hours after surgery sounds like actual torture. Here’s what I think I’ve figured out (someone correct me if I’m off) 1. Not all crossings have a designated medical lane. San Ysidro does, but it’s not 24/7. Otay sometimes has it, but it’s less reliable. 2. You must get a special medical pass from your clinic or recovery house, it’s not something you can just request at the border. 3. Your driver has to know to use it. Some ride apps won’t take you through the medical line, so people usually arrange transport through the clinic/recovery house. 4. The actual medical lane doesn’t guarantee zero wait. I’ve seen posts where it was 30 minutes, others said 1.5 hours, but still way better than 3. Also saw a couple comments warning that U.S. border agents might still pull you over for extra questions, especially if you look woozy or don’t have documentation ready. Did I miss anything? Anyone cross recently and can confirm this is how it still works?
