I finally booked it. 360 lipo in TJ, next month. I did the research, I like the clinic, I saved up. It felt right. Then I told my mom. She didn’t scream or anything, just kind of… stared. Said “I just don’t want anything to happen to you,” then sent me two articles about people “disappearing in Mexico.” Likethanks?? That helps?? Now I can’t stop second guessing everything. Is it actually unsafe? Am I being reckless? Or is she just scared because it’s not “traditional” healthcare? I still want to go. I need this. But the panic spiral is real.
